Anatomical Donation & Gifting Services

Preserving Legacies, Inspiring Biological Discovery: A Gift For Generations

For thousands of years, the world has adopted the mantra: “It is better to give than to receive.” Anatomical Donation and Gifting is the highest expression of this idea - forever memorializing one’s contribution to the world. The most selfless act one can give, anatomical donation advances scientific and biological research with the utmost respect given to the remains by students, researchers and professionals. When selected, Peaceful Rest Funeral Chapels & Cremations partners with the Willed Body Program of the Office of Medical Education with the University of Kansas in Kansas City, Kansas.

Through our partnership with this program, we offer a comprehensive Anatomical Donation service. This program allows individuals to express their wish to donate their body to science, facilitating invaluable contributions to medical education and advancements. We are committed to guiding families through every step of the Anatomical Donation process with the utmost sensitivity and care. Our experienced team ensures that all arrangements are handled with respect and reverence, reflecting the profound importance of this decision.

Even if you opt for Anatomical Donation, our chapel remains dedicated to providing a range of service offerings to help celebrate and memorialize your loved one's life. We believe that every individual's journey deserves to be honored with the utmost respect and care. Our compassionate team is here to assist you in organizing meaningful memorial services, heartfelt celebrations of life, and comforting gatherings that beautifully capture the essence of your loved one's legacy.
